ICSoftware, Inc. specializes in the development of Windows-based software using Visual Basic as our primary tool to accomplish this work. We have designed and developed a number of systems using Visual Basic as the interface to a variety of database engines, including;

	In addition to developing the Volume and Manpower Planning System (VAMPS), the Fire and Rescue Event Tracker (FARE/Trax) and DentaScript, ICSoftware has been involved with numerous Client/Server development projects. What follows here is a partial listing.


	Architecting and developing a secure web-based document and intranet management system for a major professional sports league. The design allowed for the upward scalability to handle over 13 independent intranet sites in a secure fashion. Security was enhanced by using ADSI on Windows NT servers in conjunction with user profiles stored in a Microsoft SQL Server database.

Worked with a multi-national advertising company developing a web-based front-end to an existing middleware system to manage workflow and automate the production of calendar-driven and frequently updated marketing sales support and compliance documents. Responsible for overall project management with multiple clients and development teams


	Designed and developed an OLAP solution for the Finance Department of a major professional sports league to allow for the analysis of 13 independent business units. This umbrella program allowed for the consolidation of these units with an annual revenue of almost US$ 3 Billion. Developed using Microsoft Analysis Services, Microsoft SQL Server and Excel.

Developing a Project Mangement System for a large cosmetics company. An easy to use interface was placed in front of a complex task management system used corporate wide to follow processes from conception through manufacturing. Developed with Visual Basic under Oracle 7.3. Reports developed with Actuate 3.1 and Active Reports.


	Designing and implementing the database of a Web-based portfolio management system for a major financial publishing company. In conjunction with the Hudson Technology Group. Database developed for SQL-Server/NT with the front-end system developed with Cold Fusion.

Developing a Sales Bonus System for a large cosmetics company. Complete flexibility was built into the system to allow for user-definable changes in the future. Developed with Visual Basic under Oracle 7.3. Reports developed with Actuate 3.1.


	Design and implementation of a web-based document mangement system in conjunction with the Hudson Technology Group. Developed in MS IE4, SQL-Server and VB6..

Customizing a decision support system for use by upper management of a large medical device manufacturer with support for the sales and marketing divisions. Developed with Visual Basic. Gateways were developed to transfer data between DB2/400, SQL-Server/NT and Watcom SQL databases.


	Customizing a decision support system for a large pharmacutical company. Developed with Visual Basic. Gateways were developed to transfer data between DB2/400 and SQL-Server/NT databases.

Customizing a decision support system for use by senior management of a large AS/400 Software Developemt company.Developed with Visual Basic. Gateways were developed to transfer data between DB2/400 and SQL-Server/NT databases.


	Designing and developing a Windows-based Sales Contact & Marketing System for use by bond & debt traders in the Emerging Markets Division of a major New York financial institution. Developed with Visual Basic and includes the use of CodeBase 5.0 to access FoxPro data & index files, the Novell Windows Kit for bindery interfacing, and the LAN Manager Toolkit for Windows for Workgroups support.

Part of consulting team designing, developing and supporting a back-office Sovereign Debt Trading System for the Emerging Markets Division of a major New York financial institution. Written in FoxPro in a Novell/Windows environment Includes a Data Replication Module to transfer data worldwide between remote sites running concurrent systems.


	Part of consulting team that developed a Restraining Order Processing System for a major New York Bank. Developed with Clipper in a Novell environment. The system includes a front-end interface to mainframe systems via HLLAPI calls.

Part of consulting team that developed a Gate Arrival System for use by a major worldwide container shipping company. Developed with Visual Basic, Btrieve and SQL-Server. Optimized for use in a Microsoft Lan Manager environment with DCA Communications Server. Uses APPC and HLLAPI for PC/Mainframe connectivity to interface with a proprietary APPC Mainframe application.
